Happy New Year!! Almost!
I trust everyone’s getting reading to celebrate the dawn of 2010. I hope you have fun and festive evenings. My favorite New Year’s Celebrations have always been my calmest ones, and tonight looks to be a good one: dinner with a friend early, and a little gossip time with Melissa later tonight. In the meatime, I’m checking in with some wonderful news: Choosing Raw is the winner of the Best Blog and the Best Website in the Best of Raw 2009 Awards!!!
I got the news today, and I could not be more thrilled! Thank you, thank you to everyone who gave me your vote. I am deeply flattered and touched by your support–and so excited for my fun prizes! I hope to keep offering you my own perspective on the easy and joyful way to approach raw and vegan foods in 2010, and I’ll continue to welcome your feedback on what I can do to serve you all better!
On that note, I’m so glad you liked my Raw Food Rehab post — seems as though many of you have encountered issues similar to Val’s. For those of you who are looking for some raw food support, I have great news: I was reminded today that the “raw food rehab” term is not my own invention: my very dear friend Penni has already started up a virtual wellness retreat and community by the name of Raw Food Rehab! It’s 1,400 members and growing strong, and it’s the perfect solution for anyone who needs some raw support. Penni is a gem, and she’s always working towards raw education and community in a cheerful, fun, non-judgmental fashion!
