Is Choosing Raw for You?

Many people are curious about Choosing Raw counseling, but unsure of whether or not it will suit their lifestyle and goals. If you’re interested in a consultation, consider the following questions:

  • Do you experience loss of control around sweets?
  • Do you struggle with cycles of overeating or undereating?
  • Do you suffer from chronic IBS, bloating, or constipation?
  • Have you tried–and hated–every popular weight loss plan?
  • Do you feel susceptible to healthy eating “trends,” and are you looking to find a place of permanence with your eating habits?
  • Do you have a history of restricting food, and are you looking to renew your love of eating?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then Choosing Raw counseling may be for you. I work with people of various weights, ages, lifestyles, and diets to achieve maximum well being through a more plant based diet. It’s my sincere belief that eating whole, plant based foods – even in moderate quantities – can help all of us to feel our personal best. And as a coach and counselor, it’s my job to help you find ways to move towards these foods in a gradual, intelligent fashion.

I also do my best to ensure that my clients find a lifestyle that is feasible and sustainable. My aim is not to help you move through yet another dietary phase, but rather to reach a relationship with food that feels organic to you–a relationship that’s enjoyable, but not obsessive; moderate, but never lacking in pleasure.

If you’re simply curious about eating more plant based foods, or if you’ve been trying to eat raw or vegan and haven’t been experiencing the kind of results you want, I can also help. There’s a lot of conflicting information out there about how best to transition into a plant-based diet, and I’m here to help you to distinguish fact from fiction. I work to show my clients who are curious about raw foods how they can achieve proficiency and ease within the lifestyle without sacrificing their budgets or their sanity!

Most importantly, I offer all of my clients a friendly, non-judgmental, and supportive perspective on their dietary struggles and goals—whatever they may be.
