I’m interrupting my regularly scheduled work day to share an email that put a smile to my face. This is from my best friend, Chloe, who goes to business school in New Orleans. In the last year, Chloe has managed to go vegetarian in the city of crab etouffee and jumbalaya, and I am super proud of her. Now, she’s paying it forward with her friends:
“FYI: I made the zucchini Alfredo yesterday for easter brunch. big hit, even among all the meat loving southerners.”
Proof that raw food isn’t just for raw foodists. Way to go, Chloe!

HOORAY!!
That’s awesome!
That’s great! The best way to convince someone is through their stomach!
In the last restaurant I worked in, I made raw chili and people loved it so much they would buy it and ask for it to be heated up.. (god, you don’t know how hard it was putting my beloved raw chili in a MICROWAVE!)
Your borscht looks awesome too. I’ve been craving beets lately.. I have some that I’m going to shred for a salad.. LOVE raw beets.
I’m planning on making the zucdhini alredo tomorrow night! I’ll report back to you
I am glad to have found your blog. I’ll definitely be checking back for your future posts.. And you may just be inspiring me to attempt a very very gradual raw transition.
Who knows!?!!!!?

Love stories like that!
Melody,
I agree! And I always say, it starts with friends. That’s where I’ve inspired, AND where I’ve learned how to inspire.
Tara,
I expect a full report!
Emmy,
I’m so happy you’re here! I can’t wait to read your blog, too.
Kristen,
Me too! Total transformation.

I’m vegan and visited New Orleans in January. I had no idea what to do while I was there and found this great website: http://pakupaku.info/neworleans/eatingnola.shtml It has lots of honest reviews about places where eating vegan is possible! The African restaurant was awesome. Anyways, just thought you might tell your friend
I will! thanks so much, Erin.
