I really enjoyed reading your guest post miss Gena! I was just trying to explain to a friend the other day that there are SO many different reasons why a raw lifestyle can be helpful. I'm with ya on not being *too* crazy about exact details, as long as you're healthy and balanced, the exact guidelines or 100% rawness shouldn't matter. What a great way to live right? xxox

I'm a regular reader of Hadley's blog and so was excited when I saw you'd be posting over there. It was a great read--definitely makes the raw lifestyle seem super approachable, which not all people manage to do.

Of course, I completely understand that sometimes those kind of posts can be misconstrued by some people as a model for what they should do, and I really should of thought of that before asking!

I would be more than happy (in fact incredibly flattered) if you used my query as a question of the week : )

Thanks!

No problem, Jessica! I do have an active lifestyle, including some moderate running (think 2-3 miles, 1-2 times a week, at most), some gym-going, and yoga 2-3 times a week.

For now, at least, I'm not going to do a "day in the life" post because I'm a firm believer in not holding up one's own dietetic or fitness habits up as markers of what others should or should not do. If you don't mind, I'll answer this query in more depth as my "question of the week" later this week? Cool?

Another eloquent, well-structured article. It was a pleasure to read, and had just the right balance of the basics for newcomers to raw food and more detailed elements that even raw aficionadoes might not be familiar with.

Something I would love to read about / see on the blog would be how you find raw food sustains your active lifestyle (I think you mentioned running and yoga amongst other things) incorporated into something along the lines of a 'day in the life' post. I'm always intrigued as to how a high-raw diet impacts upon highly active individuals : )

Just a thought though ~ apologies if I was too forward!
